What this case study actually records
The details below come from the stored project record. We do not infer track type, installation height or other technical specifications unless they are recorded for this individual project.
The Client Brief
The client wanted a practical and elegant curtain solution for an apex bedroom window in Newcastle. The main priorities were blackout performance, better privacy and a softer, more complete bedroom finish. Because the window was shaped, the curtains needed to be carefully measured and made to suit the apex design rather than treated like a standard square window.
The Challenge
Apex bedroom windows can be difficult to dress because of their angled shape, height and exposed glass. Standard curtains often do not sit neatly around the window, and without proper lining the bedroom can remain too bright. The challenge was to create a curtain solution that helped reduce light, improved privacy and still looked balanced around the apex window.
The Recorded Solution
We created made-to-measure pencil pleat curtains designed around the shape and proportions of the apex bedroom window. Blackout lining was selected to help reduce light entering the room and support a more restful sleeping environment. The pencil pleat heading provided a soft, classic and flexible finish, making the curtains practical for daily use while still looking elegant.
Recorded Result
The finished curtains helped make the bedroom feel more private, comfortable and restful. The blackout lining improved light control, while the pencil pleat heading created a softer traditional look. The made-to-measure design allowed the curtains to sit neatly around the apex window and complete the room with a calm, finished appearance.
